Somebody's 0 has got to go !

The UFC Middleweight King Israel Adesanya is set to face the toughest opponent of his career, Paulo Costa, at UFC 253 on September 26. Considering the beef between these two, the stylistic match-up & the intimidating records possessed by both these fighters, the fight is expected to be an absolute blinder. The UFC President Dana White believes Adesanya vs Costa will be the biggest fight of the year.

Adesanya never misses a chance to get into his opponent's head, but with Costa, the rivalry seems to be on another level. Adesanya took a dig at Costa by posting on his instagram handle.

Adesanya exhibits a professional MMA record of 19 wins (14 knockouts) & 0 losses. He is the only champion along with the Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov to stay undefeated. Adesanya became the Middleweight Champion in October last year by beating Robert Whittaker. Right after the fight, he called out Costa saying he's a 'Ricky Martin' wannabe. After his first title defense against Yoel Romero, Adesanya took a jibe at Costa by issuing him a warning saying ''Costa, I'll see you soon boy''.

Adesanya, 31, has beaten the biggies of Middleweight division like Anderson Silva, Kelvin Gastelum, Robert Whittaker, Yoel Romero and more.

Meanwhile in Paulo Costa's corner, things aren't any different. The Middleweight stalwart is extremely pumped and waiting to get his hands on the champion Israel Adesanya. Costa is a serious knockout artist of the game with a professional MMA record of 13 wins (11 knockouts) & 0 losses. Coming into this fight, Adesanya has an edge over Costa with his experience & reach but Costa's vicious power & pace would be a tough job to crack for Adesanya. Costa's last fight was against Yoel Romero, where he secured a unanimous decision win and that fight is still regarded as one of the best in Middleweight division. Post that fight, Costa said ''I've come here to take my belt, I will be waiting for Adesanya, the skinny clown Adesanya''. In an interview, Costa said "Adesanya is scared, I will destroy him". Costa took to his Instagram handle by sneering Adesanya on something he wouldn't like.

Adesanya was fairly criticized for his last fight against Yoel Romero as Adesanya did not fight the way he does and distanced himself from Romero throughout the fight. Yoel Romero said "He ran & he's not a big champion". But, Adesanya has promised to put on a fight and knock Costa out & deliver a performance for the ages . Costa would look to capitalize on the mistakes done by Adesanya and take the Octagon by storm. There is immense hype behind this contest as it could go either way. Who do you think'll stay undefeated ? Who leaves the Octagon with the gold on September 26 ?
